Do you know the difference between coeliac disease and wheat intolerance? Make sure that it is a wheat intolerance that you may be suffering from and not coeliac disease. Coeliac disease needs to be treated by a health professional. Many of the questions we get asked are: Should you cut out bread to stop your bloated stomach? This does depend on whether it is a wheat intolerance that you are suffering from, rather than anything else. If it is an allergy that is the issue, then you need to consult a Health Professional immediately.
What will your report tell you?
Your report will tell you whether or not eating bread is causing your bloated stomach, as bread will be highlighted in your report. The good news is that a wheat intolerance will not last forever if treated right. If you remove bread from your diet (an elimination diet) then Test Your Intolerance will be able to guide you through the following 28 days upon receiving your results. There are more and more people around the world claiming to suffer from wheat intolerance or wheat allergy, but it is vital that you know which is which. Intolerance itself is simply when someone is struggling to digest wheat.

What is Coeliac Disease?
Different to a wheat intolerance, coeliac disease is an autoimmune disease and an intolerance test will not be able to help you necessarily. It is not a food allergy or a food intolerance, though many people use the same treatment as they would a wheat allergy or wheat intolerance, they remove what and gluten from their diet. Coeliac Disease is caused by a reaction to gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye and barley.
