Why Am I Always Tired? Is it related to a Food Intolerance?

If you are wondering “Why Am I Always Tired”, the problem might have to do with food intolerance issues. While an Intolerance Test could help you to pinpoint which type of food you are intolerant to, various other signs and symptoms such as diarrhea, gas, bloating etc could be indicative that you are actually allergic to one or more foods. Your tiredness could be attributed to such types of problems.

Lactose Intolerance

Constant tiredness is a common symptom of Lactose Intolerance and usually results after the consumption of milk-based products such as milk itself, cheese etc. The problems associated with the condition such as fatigue, bloating, gas and abdominal pain generally arise after having such foods. This is because the bodies of patients of Lactose Intolerance are usually deficient I the enzyme called lactase that is necessary for breaking down lactose that is present in dairy foods. Having low lactose foods such as Greek Yogurt and Cheddar Cheese or a complete elimination of milk-based foods can be very useful to relieve tiredness and other issues.

Gluten Intolerance

Gluten intolerance problems arise due to an allergenic response which is shown by the body when wheat-based foods are consumed. Gluten happens to be a composite of 2 types of proteins – glutenin and gliadin. This is a sticky substance that cannot be easily digested by some humans and stays there undigested in the stomach – thus irritating the intestinal lining. The substance is a combination of glutenin, gliadin, and starch, and is present in wheat, barley, rye and some other types of grass-related grains. Most cookies, crackers, pasta, and bread have gluten, as these generally have wheat flour as an ingredient. Fatigue is one of the commonest symptoms of Gluten intolerance. Thus, if you are wondering why am I always tired after having wheat-based foods, Gluten sensitivity could be the problem.

Yeast Intolerance

This is caused when you have slices of bread, some types of fruits, many processed foods and some other kinds of foods. These eatables are essential for overall well being, and only tests such as an Intolerance Test can help physicians to arrive at a decision on whether you can relief when yeast foods are removed from your diet. If you are wondering why am I always tired, yeast could be a possible reason. Generally, a yeast-free diet helps to restore the original balance to the body and reduce the various symptoms that are experienced.
